Terms of Trade

Thank you for taking the time to read the Sylvan online shop terms and conditions of trade. The team at Sylvan strive to offer quality hardware products that will meet your expectations. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

We make every attempt to describe our hardware products clearly on our website and we are confident that you will be happy with your purchase, but if you are unsatisfied in some way please let us know and we will happily address your concern. 

Returns Policy:

Every effort is made to ensure you receive a quality product. All of our products are checked and securely packaged before dispatch to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. If you receive your order and they are damaged or you are unhappy with the condition of the product, please contact us immediately.

Satisfaction Guaranteed Policy:

  • Our customers have the right to receive their ordered products in good condition.

  • If you are returning products to us they must be returned back to us within 14 days of receiving your order. Please ensure you have contacted us prior to returning the goods and we will e-mail you a returns advice which should be printed out and included with the goods being returned.

  • When returning goods back to us please repack the product back into the original packaging ensuring the product is returned in the original condition.  If a full refund is required we will credit your credit card once the goods have been received.

Delivery and Pricing policy:

  •  If the item is in stock your order will be delivered to all of our customers within 4 working days of payment validation.

  • If the item is out of stock we will send to you an e-mail  with an expected delivery time within 24 hours of placing your order. (excluding weekends) Your order will then be put on back order.

  • All prices quoted for New Zealand customers are freight free within New Zealand.

  • All prices quoted on the Sylvan website are including GST.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If after you have fully completed your order with our online shop, you decide that you would like to cancel your order, we will happily accept your cancellation if we are notified within 12 hours of placing your order.

  • Please contact us either by phoning  0800 279 582 (NZ customers only) or e-mail us: sales@gdrutter.co.nz within the 12 hour period.

Surcharge Fees

No additional surcharges will be charged by Sylvan, for the use of designated credit cards shown on our website. However Sylvan has no control over any additional charges charged to you directly by your bank. If you are unsure please contact your bank directly prior to placing your order.

Back orders

The team at Sylvan will endeavour to be in stock of all items displayed at all times. However we sometimes cannot accurately forecast customer demand.

  •  In the event of a product being out of stock, we will place your order on back order and  advise you of the anticipated availability date via e-mail. You may cancel your back order at  any time. If paying by credit card you are not charged for any items on back order until they  re sent to you.

Shipping information

  • Goods will be dispatched via courier once your payment has been validated.

  • As a security measure prior to processing your order we many contact you to manually  confirm your address and credit card details.

  • We guarantee that we will not sell, lease or giveaway any details you provide us, including your e-mail address to any other party.

  • All information you supply is treated as confidential and will only be seen by those who are responsible and dispatch of your order. Your personal details are stored securely and will not be shared with anyone or used for any purposes other than ordering and contacting you.

  • Our website may contain links to other sites that are not under our control. These websites have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them. We have no responsibilities for linked websites, and provide them solely for your information and convenience.

Security

All online purchases with Sylvan take place in a secure environment utilising the latest security technology. Online orders are processed using the secure Hosted Payment page solution from Stripe. Your card is authorized and debited in real time and an SSL secure environment.
